FAQ

The mostly asked questions to the local network app loc.all

Do citizens have to pay to use the app?

No. For citizens, the use of the app is and remains free of charge.

Can I be registered in several municipalities at the same time?

No. The concept is based on strengthening the home community and sustainable exchange. Therefore, action and assistance are only possible directly on site in the home community or within the immediately neighbouring communities.

What happens to my account when I move to another community?

Then your account simply moves with you. In your profile settings, you can enter your new municipality of residence as your new home municipality, and your posts and points will be retained and transferred to the new municipality.

Can I close or delete my account?

At any time. In your account settings you can freely dispose of your account and delete your account at any time.

Will my data be passed on to third parties?

The protection of your data is our top priority. We only use it to ensure the general functionality of the app. Third-party services are also used for this purpose, such as those of the chat service provider talk.js. You can find out more about our efforts to protect your data at privacy policy.

How do I collect green points?

Whether you offer an item for sale, send help to someone or contribute to curbing traffic on South Tyrol's roads by offering a ride or invite friends to use loc.all as well - with every action you take in the app, you collect green points that are assigned to the various sustainability goals.

What are the sustainability goals and the fields of action for South Tyrol?

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are the globally valid goals for sustainable development defined by the United Nations General Assembly as part of the 2030 Agenda. Within the framework of its sustainability strategy, South Tyrol has derived 7 fields of action from these goals, which are of particular importance for the sustainable development of South Tyrol.

What exactly happens with the collected green points?

The green points that you collect with each of your actions in the app are added up and, together with the points of all app users in your municipality, result in the green point average of the municipality. In this way, we determine which municipality is the most sustainable of the South Tyrolean municipalities and provide the municipalities with a measuring tool to implement improvement measures.

Can I redeem my green points myself?

Loc.all is oriented towards the common good. The points collected do not benefit an individual, but the entire community, which is why with loc.all the points cannot be redeemed in the classic sense, but are added up and together produce an average that shows which South Tyrolean municipalities are the most sustainable.
